Russian Salad: A perfect blend of cream and fruits

Fruits are the major source of vitamins and energy. Keeping in view the current state of the world, it is important to boost your immune system and increase the intake of vitamins, especially vitamin C. Adding dry fruits and green vegetables in your diet also help you have a better and strong immune system. Everything outside is shut down for our safety. Nothing is predictable in this situation. We all must fight and help each other in this hour of need and safe ourselves and our loved ones from this contagious virus by staying inside and by practicing social distancing.

In quarantine days, it is restricted to go outside, I wanted to try something new which gives my taste buds a new flavor. I make ‘Russian Salad’, which seems to me the best option. Obviously, canned fruits are not rich in vitamins and minerals, but canned fruits are better than no fruits. Apart from canned fruits, I have used Apples and Grapes in it, which are rich in vitamin C and A.

Russian Salad

Ingredient

  • One Fruit cocktail can 836 g
  • Grapes (as you Required)
  • 3-4 Apples (cut in cubes)
  • Mayonnaise (as You Required)
  • Cream 500 ml  
  • 2-3 tsp sugar
  • Almonds (as You Required)

Method

  1. Carefully open the Fruit cocktail can and stain the syrup aside.
  2. Pour all the content of can in a bowl and add apple cubes in it.
  3. Now gradually add mayonnaise and cream in it and combine well.
  4. Add sugar and mix well.
  5. Now garnish it with almonds and grapes on the top.
  6. Set in a refrigerator for 10-15 minutes and Enjoy your chilled Russian Salad.
